Do you need proof of your German language skills for naturalisation, a job application or for any other purpose? You are welcome to take the Fide-test in German (CEFR levels A1 to B1) with us.
The Fide-test measures your oral and written language skills. It consists of an oral part "speaking and understanding" and a written part "reading and writing". You can either take both parts or just one part. After completing the fide test, you will receive the result and your language passport by post. It shows separately your oral and/or written competences in the German language for the level you have reached (A1, A2 or B1). You can repeat or update the fide test as a whole or just the oral or written part as often as you like for a fee.
The fide-Test was initiated by the State Secretariat for Migration (SEM). It is recognised nationwide. It relates to linguistic situations that you encounter in everyday life in Switzerland, be it on the telephone with an authority, when filling out a form or reading an email from an employer.
Use the model version of the fide test to prepare for the exam.
